Our Story
The Seedling
Colette, our Founder and trusted Family Solicitor, was advising a client (let’s call her Charlotte) about sharing assets on divorce including items in the family home – some of them were sentimental, others were practical.
Some of them, Charlotte’s ex had just taken when he raided the house for his belongings, taking key items that Charlotte and her young children used everyday…
One day, Charlotte quipped, “I didn’t need a wedding registry, I need a divorce registry!”
And thus, a seed was planted…
The Orchard
Fast-forward 6 years, and New Leaf Orchard was launched on 13 March 2026, offering a selection of trusted experts.
Launching our gift registry on 04 June 2026 makes us the first UK-based divorce registry, with carefully selected brands offering good-quality, thoughtful gifts so that loved ones can support lovely clients like Charlotte when they need it most.
